Ralph R. Hoffman, 85, of Westvale, died Monday, November 21, 2005 at University Hospital. Born in White Plains on Tuesday, September 21, 1920, he was the son of William and Josephine Hoffman. Ralph lived in Westvale since 1984. He received a bachelor's degree in engineering from Syracuse University and was formerly employed by Sullivan Dental Supply In Wisconsin. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Ralph enjoyed bass fishing and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Sally DeShane-Hoffman; daughters, Lynn Titshaw, Karen Panetta and Victoria Davis; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; step-daughters, Sharon Gregory, Deborah Griley, Brenda Donar, Lauren Barriger, and Jill DeShane; stepson, Lawrence DeShane; six step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2005 at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 5108 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Friends may call preceding the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Contributions may be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 5108 W. Genesee St., Camillus, NY 13031.
