Renee H. Nicolucci, 61, of Fairmount, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 at home. Born on Thursday, April 24, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Lanseros and Pauline Neugent of Syracuse. She lived in Syracuse all her life. Renee was employed with Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, retiring in April 2007. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Renee was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Henry Nicolucci, on December 21, 2005. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Matt Caves of Liverpool; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Mary Lou Nicolucci of Camillus and Christopher and Audra Nicolucci of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Taylor and Kyle Caves, Julia, Anthony and Ondrea Nicolucci; brothers, Paul and Manuel Lanseros; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 12:15 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 1 p.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Renee will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
