Rev. Joseph R. Wright, C.M., 81, died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at St. Vincent’s Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born in Syracuse on Thursday, December 22, 1927, Father Wright graduated from Onondaga Valley Academy and St. Joseph’s Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey. Father Weight was ordained a Vincentian priest in 1954. Throughout his 55 years as a priest, he worked as an educator, parish pastor, preacher and chaplain. Among the parishes he served were Most Holy Rosary and St. Anthony of Padua in Syracuse and St. Ann’s in Manlius. Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rev. Joseph R.
