Robert Amann

Robert Amann, 82, of Camillus, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at home. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he was a graduate of Eastwood High School. Robert was employed with the Onondaga County Correctional Facility for 36 years. He was a member of the Fairmount Fire Dept. and enjoyed camping and spending time with family.

Surviving are his wife, Charlene; children, Robert (Sheila), Cindy (Gary) Burkhart, Jennifer (Patrick) Brewer and Scott; brothers, Richard (Judy) and Lester (Betty); seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, November 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral Mass will be Friday, November 30 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 West Genesee St., Camillus. Robert will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
