Robert Dale Mersfelder

Robert Dale Mersfelder, 92, of Camillus, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Francis House. Born in Syracuse, he graduated from Camillus High School and was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea. He retired in 1979 as a mail carrier after 27 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Camillus. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Alyce; parents, William and Hazel; and brothers, Gerald and Frederick. Surviving are his sister, Dianne (James) Kenny of Camillus; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Services will be Wednesday, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Robert will be laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery, Camillus.
