Shirley F. (Converse) Ward

Shirley F. (Converse) Ward, 91, died peacefully on December 12, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Canton, GA. A native of Syracuse, Shirley lived many years in Camillus and Knoxville, TN. She was a graduate of Eastwood High and attended OCC. Shirley was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Francis, in 2015; and brothers, Robert and Paul.

Surviving are sons, James (Jean) of Waleska, GA, Thomas (John Pholeric) of Herndon, VA, David (Sandra) of Verona, NJ and Mark (Joan) of South Glens Falls, NY; brother, Vince of Tavares, FL; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Monday, December 17 at 10 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will follow in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
