Shirley J. Buecheler

Shirley (Watson) Buecheler, 96, of Marcellus, passed peacefully on February 19, 2018 at The Centers at St. Camillus. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, she lived in Syracuse before moving to Marcellus in 1973. Shirley graduated from Syracuse University and was one of the first female law graduates from the Syracuse University School of Law. A member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, she also was a member of the Onondaga Bar Association.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Richard; and sisters, Hazel McGee, Nesi Williams and Doris Rogers.

Surviving are her children, Karen (George) Hanford of Marcellus, Richard (Aileen) of Palmetto, FL, Linda (William) Bonnell of Lincoln, CA, William (Leslie) of East Syracuse, Susan (Charles) Luchsinger of Onondaga Hill, Gail (Robert) Gosson of Marcellus and Gretchen Taylor (Norman) of West Union, IA; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
