Suzanne M. Ellis, 63, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at Crouse Hospital. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother “Nani”.
Suzanne was a friend to all. She loved fishing, especially at Casterline Pond, but above all loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and beloved dog, Daisy.
Suzanne was predeceased by her son, Michael Jon Ellis Jr.; grandson, Isaiah; and three siblings.
Surviving are her husband of 24 years, Michael; daughters, Michaela, Justina, and Nikki (Sean) Ellis; son, Edward (Michelle) Gamlen; seven siblings; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Paul (Rya Ellis) Gawricki; grandchildren, Marcus (Bridget), Jaykob, Cayden, Michael, Liam and Cassidy; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Suzanne’s name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
