Theresa L. Towers

Theresa Pullano Towers, 61, of Camillus. passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 after a long illness. Born on April 18, 1953 in Syracuse, she grew up in Camillus where she graduated from West Genesee High School. She attended Holy Family Church in Fairmount. An avid animal lover, she loved spending time with her faithful golden retriever, Catie, and her cat, Bennie. Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Edwin, in 2014. Surviving are her parents, Sal and Cecelia Pullano, of Camillus; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and John Downing of Camillus; and several cousins. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, April 7 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 12:15 p.m. from the funeral home and at 1 p.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Theresa will be laid to rest in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
