Tillie Fanok

February 25, 1923 — January 10, 2015

Tillie Fanok, 91, of Westvale, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at The Centers at St. Camillus.  A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she was a graduate of Central Tech.  Tillie was employed by Coyne Textile Services. for 35 years, retiring in 1981.  A longtime communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, she was also a member of the Apostleship of Prayer of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, choir, and worked in the church kitchen for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, bowling, bingo and lotto.   Tillie was predeceased by her husband, Michael Fanok; brothers, Michael Pinkasewicz, John Pinkasewicz and Andrew Pinkes; and niece, Mary Pinkes.   Surviving are her sister, Julia Pinkasewicz of Syracuse; four nephews; and two grand nieces.   A Divine Liturgy for the Deceased will be private at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.  Tillie will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 207 Tompkins St., Syracuse, NY 13204.   Please share condolences at www.BuranichFH.com
