Toni Lanieu Green

Toni Lanieu Green, 71, of Warners, passed away Tuesday at home. Born in Syracuse, she was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. She was a 1969 graduate of West Genesee High School and attended Le Moyne College. Toni was employed for more than 20 years by GTE Sylvania in Camillus and for 23 years by Gaylord Bros. She loved spending time with miniature horses, her cat Jack, birdwatching and feeding birds, gardening, and sitting on the deck enjoying a cold beer. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Toni was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Mary Lanieu; and brother, Michael J. Lanieu.

Surviving are her daughter, Marie Green of Warners; son, Jonathan Green of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Braeden, Violet, Aubrey and Althea; aunt, Judy Fichera of Baldwinsville; niece, Sara Lanieu; and nephew, Jeffrey Lanieu.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, April 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
