Umeko Friske, 83, of Phoenix, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at McHarrie Life. She was born in Japan. Umeko enjoyed cooking, traveling, crocheting, watching Japanese television and the news. Above all else, she loved spending time with her husband, nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Eugene; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family. Umeko will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the McHarrie Life Activities Fund, 7740 Meigs Rd., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
