Winifred W. Lane

Winifred W. Lane, 95, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Born in Cortland, she moved to the Syracuse area after high school. A member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Winifred sang like a bird in the choir and was active in church activities. She traveled with the missionary group doing good deeds. Winifred enjoyed embroidery and birdwatching, especially cardinals. She always helped others and lived by the golden rule.

Winifred was predeceased by her husband, Leslie; and sister, Wilma Saunders.

Surviving are her daughter, Joan (William) Barzee of Camillus; son, Donald Lane of New Jersey; granddaughter, Heather (Kenneth Woodworth) Morrison of Cicero; and great-granddaughters, Victoria and Vanessa.

Services will be private for family. Winifred will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
