Yvonne Mary Coon

Yvonne Mary Coulombe Coon, 62, of Millcreek, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, January 20, 2007at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pennsylvania after a courageous battle against several illnesses. Born in Syracuse on Saturday, July 8, 1944, she was the daughter of Emil and Elizabeth Gustina Coulombe. Yvonne was a 1962 graduate of West Genesee High School and lived in Erie for 22 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and was truly loved by everyone who knew her. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Dennis; daughters; Amy Miller, Kelly (Matt) McFiggen, Kimberly (Matt) Curry and; son, Dennis (Michelle) Coon; brother, Charles Coulombe; sisters, Jeanette Mondo, Joanne Wood and Denise Clark; six grandsons, two granddaughters; and mother-in-law, Kathaleen Coon. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2007 in Holy Family Church. Friends may call Friday, February 2, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with reflections following. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family at Greenlawn Cemetery.
