Barbara Jean Soldan

Barbara J. Soldan, 99, of the village of Camillus, passed away Wednesday at The Commons on St. Anthony in Auburn. A lifetime resident of Camillus, she retired from GTE.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, George; parents, Ralph and Gertrude Howell; and brother, Robert (Shirley) Howell.

Surviving are her nephews, Arlie (Linda) Howell of Weedsport, Wayne (Bonnie) Howell of Skaneateles Falls, Dana (Denise) Howell of Elbridge and Milan (Chris) Howell of Memphis; and many lifelong friends and extended family.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, January 26 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Face masks are required. Barbara will be laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery, Camillus.
