Barbara Alice Money

Barbara Alice Money, 74, of Baldwinsville, passed away Wednesday at Francis House. Born in Troy and raised in Syracuse, she was employed by the Syracuse City School District and later joined AccessCNY (formerly Enable) as a case worker, where she dedicated her life to advancing education and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Alice Sorensen; and siblings, Linda Laba, Carl Sorensen, and Ned Bauer.

She is survived by her son, Jason R.; granddaughter, Carson F.; brother, Jay Bauer (Daniel Bontempo); niece and goddaughter, Rickelle Laba; nephew, Scott Laba; as well as many other loving family members.

The family would like to thank Francis House and Buranich Funeral Home for all their care and support.
