Brian M. Bosco, 42, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Camillus, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at home.

Born and raised in Syracuse, Brian relocated to Tampa, FL in 2004. He was a graduate of West Genesee High School and earned his associate degree from the University of South Florida.

Brian was a passionate music enthusiast and was self-taught on several instruments. Music was truly his life. He was a former member of the band Straighter Than Pete, where they proudly earned a Sammy Award, and also performed with Last Day Alive and Everlight. His creativity, talent, and love for music left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Brian shared his love of music with others through teaching. He was employed as a music instructor with Bach to Rock in Tampa and previously worked at The Learning Center in Tampa, where he inspired and mentored countless students.

Beyond music, Brian was a successful entrepreneur. He was the former owner of Domani Bistro and the Red Star Rock Bar, a beloved neighborhood bar in Seminole Heights, Florida.

Above all else, Brian cherished spending time with his family, who were the center of his life.

Brian was predeceased by his father, Frank Bosco Jr.

Surviving are his mother, Nancy Bosco of Auburn; son, Zayden; brother, Chris (Jackie) of Clay; grandfather, Frank Bosco Sr. of Florida; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Brian’s memory to Devin’s Rec Room, 511 Butternut St., Syracuse, NY 13208, or to Nick’s Ride 4 Friends, 13 Chapel St., Auburn, NY 13021.
