Brian Moriarty, 32, of Homer, passed away Tuesday at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Born and raised in Syracuse, he later resided in Homer. A graduate of West Genesee High School, Brian was employed by BorgWarner for 11 years. He was a fast car enthusiast, loved camping, kayaking, video games and enjoyed watching the Vikings. He loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and children.
Brian was predeceased by several great-grandparents; and paternal grandparents, Edward and Anne Moriarty.
Surviving are his wife of three years, Laura; children, Mason and Asher Moriarty; parents, Debra (David) Stagnitti and Timothy Moriarty; brothers, Edward Moriarty and Kevin Miller; step-sisters, Katie Stagnitti and Kristy Crast; maternal grandparents, Al (Sharon) Morgan and Ann Morgan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, February 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Face masks are required.
