Carolyn M. Corbin, 84, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Friday.

Born and raised in Auburn, Carolyn was a graduate of Central High School. She later moved to the Syracuse area, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and compassion for others. A devoted communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church, her quiet kindness and generous spirit touched the lives of many.

Carolyn was known for her charitable heart and found great fulfillment in supporting organizations that helped children, especially St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She believed in giving back whenever she could and took comfort in knowing her generosity made a difference in the lives of others.

Carolyn cherished traveling with her late husband, and together they created countless treasured memories on their annual trips to Cape May, a place they looked forward to visiting year after year.

Carolyn will be remembered for her warmth, selflessness, steadfast faith, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her gentle spirit and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carolyn was predeceased by her husband, Leo; and parents, Michael and Mary Figo.

Surviving are her son, Jason (Meera) Corbin; brother, Dennis (Karen) Figo; sisters, Sonia Moon and Mary Ann Carnicelli; grandchildren, Isabella, Aidan, and Wyatt Corbin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

To celebrate Carolyn’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral service will follow at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
