Catherine Ann Apps, 59, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday at Upstate University Hospital. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a 1983 graduate of West Genesee High School. Catherine collected Precious Moments dolls and figurines, and Disney memorabilia. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.
Catherine was predeceased by her parents, William and Dorothy.
Surviving are her sister, Colleen Apps; brother, William (Yvonne); nieces, Alicia Sylvester, and Justyna and Isabella Apps; nephews, Isaiah, Elijah, and Jeremiah Apps; and great-nieces, Gabriella and Allyanna.
A funeral Mass to honor Catherine’s beautiful life will be celebrated Friday, March 22, at 12:30 p.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse.
Catherine will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
