Canandaigua
Charles E. Keener Jr., 71, of Canandaigua, passed away Tuesday at Strong Memorial Hospital. Born in Syracuse and raised in Oswego County, he was a graduate of John C. Birdlebough High School and a United States Navy veteran. He enjoyed long walks, golfing, and traveling.
Charles was predeceased by his parents, Charles Sr. and Phyllis Keener.
Surviving are his sisters, Charlotte Minnoe of North Charleston, SC, Sharon Keener of St. Louis, MO, Kimberlee Keener of Blythewood, SC, and Lori Keener of Chester, SC; brothers, Daniel of the Philippines and David of Hannibal; and seven nephews.
There will be no services.
Charles will be laid to rest in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, Phoenix.
