David Bocyck

David Bocyck, 66, of Pennellville, passed away peacefully on Monday at Loretto. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he worked for more than 10 years as a laborer for the Town of Clay and previously worked for Eagle Comtronics.

David enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman who looked forward to spending time on the water. He also enjoyed attending dirt races and the excitement of race day. One of his greatest companions was his beloved cat, Smokey, who brought him much happiness and was a cherished part of his life.

David was predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Nancy.

Surviving are his sisters, Mary Beckering of Camillus and Shirley (Thomas) Sears of Clay; brother, Christopher (Roxanne) of North Syracuse; stepmother, Elaine Bocyck of Baldwinsville; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services.
