Deborah J. (Butler) Barron, of Fairmount, passed away peacefully on Tuesday. A lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, Deborah was a 1977 graduate of West Genesee High School. She went on to dedicate over 30 years of her professional life to AXA Equitable, where she was known for her commitment and integrity until her retirement in 2018.
Deborah and her beloved husband, Christopher, shared a passion for travel. Together, they explored many states and countries, making cherished memories both on land and at sea as avid cruisers.
Deborah was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Grace Butler; and two brothers-in-law.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Christopher; sisters, Sandra (Bryant Creighton) Eaton of South Carolina and Patricia (Edwin) Butler Rhoades of Camillus; and several cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
