Deborah J. (Petro) Parsons, 66, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday.

Born in Orchard Park, Deborah spent most of her life in Syracuse. She was a graduate of West Genesee High School and went on to earn two bachelor's degrees from Le Moyne College, a testament to her dedication to education and lifelong learning.

Deborah devoted more than 43 years of service to Carrier Corp., where she worked in the accounting department. She was a respected and valued employee who retired in 2022 after a distinguished career.

Deborah found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved tending to her gardens, preparing meals for family and friends, and challenging herself with puzzles. She was a devoted animal lover who cherished her cats and dogs, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Above all, Deborah treasured the time she spent with her family. Whether gathering for holidays, sharing meals, or simply enjoying each other's company, her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by those she loved. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Deborah was predeceased by her son, Todd Petro; father, Francis Petro; and brother, David Petro.

Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Gerald; mother, Jean Petro of Syracuse; brothers, Daniel of Oklahoma and Robert Petro of Syracuse; sister, Elizabeth Petro of Memphis; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

Deborah will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, One Children’s Circle, Syracuse, NY 13210.
