Donald S. Wescott, 58, of North Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at University Hospital. He was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. Donald was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Donald was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and June; and brothers, Chuck, Wayne and Thomas.
Surviving are his wife of 19 years, the former Cathy Seitz; daughters, Corinna (Chris) LaMontagne of Central Square and Morgan Wescott of North Syracuse; sons, Donald of Syracuse and Michael of North Syracuse; stepdaughters, Amanda Garfield of Syracuse and Kelly Garfield of Solvay; stepsons, James Garfield of Florida and Joseph (Roxanne) Garfield of Arizona; sister, Doreen Wescott of North Syracuse; brothers, John (Wendy) of Kirkville and Daniel, Ronald and David (Sue), all of North Syracuse; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, January 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
