Elizabeth (Pierce) Gardner, 72, of Camillus, passed away peacefully at home on Monday.
Born and raised in Syracuse, Elizabeth was a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area. She worked as an LPN at Independent Healthcare for over 20 years, where she was known for her compassion and dedication to her patients.
Elizabeth’s happiest moments were those spent surrounded by her loved ones. She had a joyful spirit and loved playing darts and bowling, and she especially enjoyed the freedom and fun of roller skating.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, William and Eleanor.
Surviving are her partner, David of Camillus; daughters, Tawnya (Domenick) Ianno of Liverpool, Bianca Gardner of Liverpool, Kristin Pierce of Solvay, and Treci Kline of Baldwinsville; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Gene (Susan) McIntyre of Mattydale, Christopher Pierce of Clay, Stephen Pierce of Syracuse, and Thomas Pierce of North Carolina.
To celebrate Elizabeth’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
