Frederick James Wright, 67, of Warners, passed away at home on Monday.
A lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, Frederick was a graduate of West Genesee High School and dedicated more than 30 years of service in maintenance with Onondaga County before retiring in 2017. Known for his kind heart and love of animals, he rescued and cared for many over the years. He was also an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed nothing more than cheering on his team.
Above all, Frederick cherished time spent with his family and friends, creating lasting memories with those he loved most.
Frederick was predeceased by his parents, James and Arlene; and one sister.
Surviving are his wife of more than 25 years, Elizabeth Rodriguez; favorite cousin, Doreen (Bill) Dwyer; his furbabies; and several nieces.
Services will be private.
Frederick will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an animal rescue shelter of one’s choice.
