Gemma M. Schlicht

Gemma M. Schlicht, 87, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area and a graduate of Vocational High School. Gemma enjoyed sewing and crafts. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Gemma was predeceased by her husband, Rolland; and parents, John and Mary DiLella.

Surviving are her son, Ron (Lorie); daughters, Victoria (Charles) Strohbach, Valerie (Karl) Field, and Lori Schlicht; granddaughters, Angelina, Kristin, Annaliesa, Alexandra, and Allison; step-grandchildren, Chuck and Heidi; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Brayden, and Kinley; sister, Nita Lindsey; sister-in-law, Bonnie Schlicht; brother-in-law, John Larison; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were private.

Gemma was laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
