Gerald A. Carpenter, 71, of Camillus, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017. Born in Bainbridge, NY, he was a lifetime resident of Camillus.
Gerald was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and most recently employed as a licensed practical nurse with Central Park West, retiring in 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, the former Deborah Campbell; sisters, Betty Mae and Julie (Dino) Dojkdzijev; and brother, Tim (Gail) Carpenter.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, April 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Thursday, April 20 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
