Gloria Colleen Kollath, 85, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at Loretto Health and Rehabilitation. Born in Reynoldsville, PA, on July 8, 1939, she later made Buffalo her home before finally finding her place in Syracuse. Gloria was a proud graduate of Tonawanda High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Syracuse University. Throughout her adult life, Gloria faced significant challenges with her mental health, yet her greatest achievement was exemplifying resilience and strength in the face of adversity.
Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Dalton and Christine Rimer; and son, Lawrence Kollath.
Surviving is her daughter, Jacqueline “Jacki” Wisler of Charlotte, NC.
Services will be private.
Gloria will be laid to rest in Acacia Park Cemetery, North Tonawanda, NY.
