Gregory M. McCracken

Gregory M. McCracken, 62, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of Fowler High School. Gregory enjoyed working with his hands and was a carpenter for more than 40 years. He also enjoyed fishing and assembling car model kits. And he loved to laugh!

Gregory was predeceased by his parents, George and Catherine “Kaye” McCracken; and brother, Jeffery.

Surviving are his daughters, Julia and Amanda McCracken, both of Syracuse, and Heather Jerkins of Ontario, NY; sons, Jonathan and Jeremiah, both of Syracuse; many grandchildren; sister, Deborah (Bill) Benderski of Syracuse; brother, Michael McCracken of Tuthill, SD; and nephew, William Benderski Jr. of Syracuse.
