Helen Douglas

Helen Douglas, 90, formerly of Camillus, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014at the Wynwood of Manlius. A lifetime resident of the Camillus area, she was employed by the NY Telephone Co. for many years and was a former manager of the Syracuse Kiltie Pipe Band. Helen was predeceased by her son, Drummond Baird Douglas in 1985; brother, Stanley Ernst; sisters, Sue Ernst Kelly and Jeannette Douglas. Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Alan Douglas Jr.; brother-in-law, William Douglas of Marcellus; brother-in-law, Richard Douglas of California; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
