Jane B. Battaglia

Jane B. Battaglia, 82, of Camillus, passed away Friday at Crouse Hospital. Born and raised in Amsterdam, she moved to Syracuse in the 1960’s. Jane was employed as a secretary for many years, working for General Electric, Onondaga Community College, and Syracuse University. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and volunteered her time at both St. Camillus and ECHO Meals on Wheels. She loved antique cars and playing bunko with her close group of friends. But above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, Philip; sisters, Geraldine and Barbara and brother Alfred; grandchildren, Peter and Paul.

Surviving are her daughters, Barbara (Nick) Crisafi and Jane (Tim) Miles both of Warners, and Pam (Shawn) Mitchell of Camillus; sons, Philip (Jeannie) of Brewerton and Anthony (Terri) of Memphis; grandchildren, Nicholas, Thomas, Steven, Christopher, Joseph, James, Cameron and Gabrielle; great-grandchildren, Madison, Luca and Giavanna; many nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 16 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse.
