Jeanne Carpenter

Jeanne Carpenter, 100, of Cicero, passed away Saturday at The Cottages at Garden Grove.in Cicero. Born in Syracuse, she was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero and was formerly employed by Dey Brothers. She enjoyed sewing.
Jeanne was predeceased in 1998 by her first husband of 54 years, Lynn R. Carpenter; her second husband, William Aiken, in 2004; and brother, Hugh Duffy.
Surviving are her sons, Gary (Carla) Carpenter of Syracuse, A. Michael (Torii) Carpenter of Cicero and Paul (Janel) Carpenter of Seattle, WA; daughter, Lynda Carpenter of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Garrett Carpenter, Arron Moss, Jennyfer Gleason, Karrie Borgelt, Luke Carpenter and Amelia Carpenter.
Services will be private.
Jeanne will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities, 1654 Onondaga St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
