John “Larry” Houston, 73, passed away on February 6, 2021 in Memphis, TN after a long illness.
He is survived by his daughter, Maria (Marshon) Thomas; longtime companion, Laraine Watkins of MS; sisters, Patricia Houston of Camillus and Barbara Wind of FL; grandchildren, Zachery (Jade) Houston and Jasmine (Jordan Vecchio) Dorsey; great-granddaughter, Addison Houston; many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 17 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the North Syracuse Community Center, 700 South Bay Rd., North Syracuse, NY 13212. Burial will be private.
