Katherine "Kitty" Wall

March 10, 1920 — April 19, 2006

Katherine Kitty Wall, born Wednesday, March 10, 1920, passed away peacefully at home in Camillus with her loving husband John by her side on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Katherine was also known as Mama and Grammy to her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. Every chance she could get, Kitty spent time with her family. She even enjoyed ceramics with her grandchildren. Since 1960 Kitty lived in Camillus and worked in retail at Dey Bros. for six years in Fairmount, retiring approximately 15 years ago. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and former member of the Sherwood Knolls Garden Club and the Sherwood Knolls Homeowners Association. Kitty was a kidney transplant recipient. Surviving are her husband John of 53 years; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Sondra Kelly of Baltimore, Maryland; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Richard Horan of Manchester, New Hampshire. son and daughter-in-law, George Butch and Amy Wall of Camillus and grandchildren, Kelly Horan Testa and her husband Jonathan of Framingham, Massachusetts, Patrick, Ashley and Kerry Horan, all of Manchester, New Hampshire and Jared, Philip and Katherine Wall, all of Camillus. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Friday, April 21, 2006 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Transplant Awareness Group of CNY, P.O. Box 2126, Syracuse, NY 13220.
