Kellie Jeanne Corrigan

November 11, 1960 — December 15, 2011

Kellie Jeanne Corrigan, 51, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was born on Friday, November 11, 1960 and was a graduate of West Genesee High School. Kellie was an avid dog lover and music lover. She enjoyed the arts, especially ballet and watching Broadway shows. She was a big movie critic and Colin Farrell fan. She also enjoyed going out to lunch and spending time with her family. Surviving are her devoted father and hero, John “Jack” Joseph Corrigan and mother, Janice Marilyn Appel Corrigan, both of Camillus; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved dogs, Jackson and Riley. Relatives and friends may call Monday, December 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Tuesday, December 20 at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Nick Alvaro officiating. Kellie will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and staff of Upstate Medical Center, floors 9E and 9F.
