Kenneth Beckering

Kenneth Beckering, 54, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Sunday at home.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kenneth moved to Greene, NY, graduating from Greene Central Highschool, Class of 1989. He was a graduate of SUNY Oneonta, where he received a dual bachelor’s degree in water systems and biology. Ken was employed at OCWA for 25 years as a water sampler, chemist, and water quality manager.He was a commander with Royal Rangers Boys Ministry for 25 years. He loved cooking, camping, and especially spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Mary; parents, Ronald and Linda; children, Benjamin, Abigail, Andrew, and Ella; brothers, Tim, Matt (Amber), and Steve (Amanda); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 3 p.m. in Grace Assembly of God Church, 2515 W. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13219.
