Kenneth "Keith" Hubbard

Kenneth “Keith” Hubbard, 72, of Camillus, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Weedsport, Keith lived most of his life in the Camillus area. A 1972 graduate of Weedsport High School, he dedicated 35 years of his career to the New York State Thruway Authority, where he worked as a supervisor in the Maintenance Department. Following his retirement, Keith enjoyed staying active and continued working for Avis Car Rental.

Keith was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle whose greatest joy came from the people he loved. He shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Cindy, and together they built a life centered around family. Keith especially treasured the time he spent with his children and grandchildren, and the memories they created together will forever remain close to their hearts.

Keith was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Mary Hubbard; and sister, Nancy Short.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Cindy; sons, Jeff (Betsy) Hubbard of Camillus, Kenny Hubbard of Camillus, and Jason (Kelly) Hubbard of Constantia; grandchildren, Kaylin (Vic), Corinne, Anthony, and Camryn; sister, Sharon (Dan) Gonnella of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Keith’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A memorial service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
