Luella Ann "Luanne" Kraynak, 84, of Lakeland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday.
Born on April 8, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John and Lowella Daino.
On October 6, 1962, Luanne married her husband, Edward Kraynak. The couple made their home in Lakeland in 1963, where they built a life together and remained devoted members of the community.
A faithful communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church for more than 60 years, Luanne embraced her Catholic faith and lived it through her love, kindness, and devotion to others. She was a dedicated homemaker and lovingly cared for many neighborhood children through the years, creating lasting memories for countless families.
Above all, Luanne was devoted to her family, who were the center of her life. She will be remembered for her faith, compassion, and the love she shared with those around her.
Luanne was predeceased by brother, John A. Daino; sister, Valletta R. Wall; and infant brother, Francis A. Daino.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Edward; children, Dana Pompo, Christopher (Rachel), Kara Hook, and Amy (Anthony) Shattell; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10 a.m. in St. Marianne Cope at Our Lady of Peace, 203 Halcomb St., Syracuse.
Luanne will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
