Marcia S. Riley

Marcia S. Riley, 93, of Clay, passed away peacefully on Saturday at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Marcia was born in Syracuse and later spent most of her adult life in Monterey, CA, before recently returning to the Syracuse area. She dedicated over 24 years of service to Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, where she worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Marcia took great joy in spending time with her retired friends, especially during their cherished breakfast gatherings.

Marcia was predeceased by her parents, Roland and Ruth Searles; son, Mark; brother, Lin Searles; sisters, Elaine and Marie; granddaughter, Janine; and great-granddaughter, Abigail.

Surviving are her children, Edward Riley of Syracuse; Elizabeth (Thomas) Connelly of Brewerton; Marcia (Takaaki Kuratate) Riley of Central Square; Eugene Riley of Fairmount; and Mary (Stephen) Mau of Brewerton; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and canine companion, Milly.

Services were private.
