Syracuse

Margaret Ann O’Brien, 82, of Syracuse, passed away Monday after a brief illness, surrounded by the love of her husband and family near and far. Margie worked for Syracuse University until retirement. Margie and her husband lived in Vero Beach, FL, for many years after retirement where they truly “lived life” with many dear friends. She always enjoyed the family visiting them.

Margie was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Emma Fuller; brother, Richard Fuller; and sister, Marilyn Dietrich.

Margaret’s memory is cherished by her husband of 63 years, Howard E.; children, Patricia (Jeff) Griffin, Howard (Judy) Jr., Colleen (Patrick) Spiddle, Michelle (Jeff) Jones, and Kathy O’Brien; grandchildren, Michael (Shauna), Brittney, Courtney (DJ), April (Dan), Logan (Taylor), Sean, Gregory, Jeffrey, and Joey; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Owen, and Veda; sister, Rosemary Houseman; and extended family members.
