Marie C. Kelly

Marie C. Kelly, 95, of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Canton, she was a lifetime resident of the Camillus area and graduated from Canton High School. Marie found joy in sharing childhood memories of growing up on a farm. An avid SU sports fan, she enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and baking.

Marie was predeceased by her husband, Edward; daughter, Kathleen Kelly; parents, Herbert and Eva Rood; and sister, Doreen Martin.

Surviving are her children, Patricia Kelly of Syracuse, Michael (Teri) Kelly of Mt. Pleasant, SC, William Kelly of Framingham, MA, John (Betsy) Kelly of Syracuse, and Jean (Joseph) Carnese of Baldwinsville; granddaughter, Clara (Josh) Markiewicz of Chittenango; grandson, Jerry Bowles of Syracuse; great-grandsons, Anthony and Lukas Bowles; and sisters, Sylvia Wilson of Canton and Shirley Walters of Moorpark, CA.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, May 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

Marie will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
