Mary Ann Niedzwiecki

Mary Ann Niedzwiecki, 80, of Geddes, passed away Friday, August 21. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Mary Ann retired from Upstate Medical Center in 1995 after 37 years as an assistant in the Dept. of Preventative Medicine. She was a communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Smart, funny and fiercely independent, Mary Ann had such a unique way of looking at life. Words cannot describe how much her nieces, nephew and grandnieces will miss her. Life for our small family will never be the same. She was one in a million.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents, Chester and Frances Niedzwiecki.

Surviving are her nieces, Amy Lynne of Maryland and Lisa (Matthew) Sonatore of New Jersey; grandnieces, Mel and Nicolette Sonatore; and brother, John Niedzwiecki.

There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Syracuse.
