Mary Jane (Marciano) Mooney

Mary Jane (Marciano) Mooney, 72, of Jordan, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Rochester before moving to the Jordan-Elbridge area in 2001. Mary Jane was a graduate of St. Lucy's Academy and attended Monroe Community College. She was employed with Monroe Community Hospital for over 10 years and also worked at Niagara Mohawk and the Town of Henrietta. Mary Jane volunteered at Matthew House and the Auburn Hospital gift shop. She enjoyed photography and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Paul; daughter, Kelly (David) Facenda of Philadelphia, PA; sons, Daniel (Meghan) of Rochester and Kevin of Pasadena, CA; sisters, Angela Kritzer of Brewerton, JoAnn (Brian) Koren of Minoa and Frances Marciano of North Syracuse; brother, Michael (Janelle) Marciano of LaFayette; grandchildren, Hannah, Lily, Kian and Saer; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, May 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be private.
