Mary "Betty" Hebert

Mary Betty Hebert, 76, of 2971 Warners Rd., Warners, died Saturday, October 16, 2004 at home. Born on Wednesday, September 5, 1928, she was the daughter of Joseph Alfonse Millet and Elsie M. Mayette. She was born in Plattsburgh and lived there until moving to Syracuse in 1947. She lived in Camillus for seven years until moving to Warners in 1968. Betty was formerly employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. in Fairmount. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was a member of the CNY Area American Ex-Prisoners of War, Inc. Betty enjoyed spending time with children. Other interests of hers included flower gardening and watching hummingbirds. Her grandson, Chad Hebert, died in 1997. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Theresa Cahill and Pat Adams, and brother, Richard Millet. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Donald C. Hebert; sons: Donald J. of Utica and Ronald A.(Carol), Rodney P. and James C., all of Warners; daughter: Dawn M. (Erik) Willenborg of Marcellus; sisters: Barbara Bradt of Liverpool, Rita Zambito of Rochester, Jean Crisp of Tampa, Florida, Susan Millet of Cortland and Sandra Cerio of Cicero; brothers: Robert Millett of Schuyler Falls, John Millet of Liverpool, Gerald Millet of Syracuse and George Tom Millet of Minoa; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 19 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Warners, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Monday, October 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central New York, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
