Marylou Yacano

Marylou Yacano, 77, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday at Iroquois Skilled Nursing Community. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of West Genesee High School and Cayuga County Community College in Auburn. Marylou was employed by Equitable for over 20 years, retiring in 2016. A communicant of Holy Family Church, she was an avid golfer and gardener who enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Marylou was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, David F.; son, David T.; and parents, Louis and Catherine Allen.

Surviving are her son, Michael (Allyson); grandchildren, Matt, Sara, Michael, and Joey; siblings, Carol (Barry) Dixon, Michael (Debbie) Allen, and Christina (Gary) Brassie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral Mass will be held at a later date.

Marylou will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
