Michael A. Timson, 59, of Camillus, passed away Friday at Upstate Community Hospital.
Born and raised in Syracuse, Michael spent a few years living in Vermont before returning to the Syracuse area. He was a graduate of West Genesee High School and dedicated his professional life to safety and service. He was employed as a Loss Control Engineer with Accu-Data Business Information Services, Inc. in Albany. Earlier in his career, Michael was self-employed, working closely alongside his father and brother, Anthony at On the Mark Safety, a partnership that reflected both his strong work ethic and deep family bonds. He had a love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar, but above all, he treasured time spent with his family.
Michael was predeceased by his brothers, Mark and Richard.
Surviving are his loving wife of 33 years, Corrina; sons, Page (Megan Tomlinson) of Enosburg Falls, VT and Matthew of Camillus; grandson, Asa; parents, Frank and Patricia of Camillus; brothers, Anthony (Kimberly) of Camillus and Frank of Oswego; and many loving nieces and nephews.
To celebrate Michael’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 927 Park Ave., Syracuse.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Upstate Cancer Center, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210.
