Nadia Zhovklaya, 91, of Solvay, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday.
Nadia was a devoted wife to her husband and loving mother to her nine children. She was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and was a member of the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church.
Nadia was predeceased by her beloved spouse, Peter; son, Arkadiy; parents; and brother, Peter Chmunevich.
Surviving are her sons, Sergey (Nina), Vasiliy (Olga), Roman (Irena), Anatoliy (Luba), Fedor (Alla), Andre (Anna), and Vladimir (Nadia); daughter, Zina (Vladimir) Molchanovich; daughter-in-law, Irina; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Pavlina (Vasiliy) Petrovets; and several nieces and nephews.
To celebrate Nadia’s life, a first service will be held Friday, February 13, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church, 3875 Warners Rd., Syracuse. A second service will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the church.
Nadia will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
