Nancy Anne Gorman

Nancy Gorman, 75, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Watertown, she was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. She was a graduate of West Genesee High School and was employed by Onondaga County for 30 years. A communicant of St. Vincent De Paul Church, Nancy was also a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and Legion of Mary. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Marjorie Doherty.

Surviving are her son, Sean (Nanette) of Syracuse; daughter, Shannon of Syracuse; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Karen (David) Maxwell of Sparta, TN; brother, Philip (Leona) Doherty of Camillus; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be Friday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Church.

Nancy will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery, Theresa, NY.
